This subject aims to give student an innovative and practical introduction to international marketing. As business markets have become internationalized, this subject has an international focus so that students could be exposed to business and cultural examples from other parts of the world. The course will be divided into four parts:
- Understanding the international marketing process
- Developing international marketing opportunities and strategies
- Developing international marketing mix
- Managing international marketing.

Consumer Behavior
消費者行為
This purpose of this course is to learn the theory of tourists and consumption behaviors and will be focusing on the introduction of tourists behavior related research.
Main Contents:
1. The history of tourist behavior, Main concepts in consumer behavior & Typologies of Tourist Behavior
2. Consumer Behavior and Consumer Research、How Consumer Analysis Affects Business Strategy
3. The Consumer Decision Process、Pre-Purchase Processes: Need Recognition, Search, and Evaluation、Purchase、Post-Purchase Processes: Consumption and Evaluation
4. Demographics, Psychographics, and Personality、Consumer Motivation、Consumer Knowledge、Consumer Intentions, Attitudes, Beliefs, and Feelings)
5. Culture, Ethnicity, and Social Class、Family and Household Influences、Group and Personal Influence.

Global Business Ethics
全球企業倫理
The course will present the basic concepts on Business Ethics, examine practical issues of managers in addressing ethical and moral problems in business and introduce to the main issues on the field.
It will draw on a variety of materials and experiences as a basis for analyzing and evaluating the manager and the firm options and decisions. I encourage you to think critically and to develop an analytical framework for thinking about business ethical problems.
Practical Questions
The course involves a substantial amount of reading and writing. Students have to prepare in advancement the readings of each class, have some questions prepared and be ready to participate in the class discussion.
Each student has to prepare 3 topics during the semester: this involves the elaboration of a 3 pages +cover page report, a power point and its oral presentation
For the films reviewed has to write a 1 page plus cover page reports underlining the moral dilemmas presented in the film and a personal commentary.
By mid term, there will be a personal interview. Besides answering some questions, the student has to show the personal notes taken at class as well as other material that has been researched.

Organizational Behavior and Management

Based on the latest research on Organizational Behavior (OB), the purpose of this course is to help students understand how individuals, groups and organizations function at work for the purpose of improving organizational effectiveness. At the end of the course, students will become familiar with OB concepts, topics and theories through the readings and discussions. Students will also develop skills to effectively manage their relationships with coworkers, managers, and subordinates through self-assessment, self-evaluation and a self-development plan. The content of this course includes the following topics: Psychological Contract & Commitment, Theories of Managing People, Individual and Organizational Learning, Decoding Behavior, Enhancing Motivation, Values and Ethics, Career Development and Work Stress, Interpersonal Communication, Perception and attribution, Group Dynamics and Work Teams, Problem Solving, Creativity, Conflict and Negotiation, Managing Diversity.

This course is designed for students to develop their ability to understand theories and practice on strategic management. We particularly focus on applying strategic theories to the strategic management practice. This course includes two sections. The former section provides the review of strategic management theories and introduces analytical approaches that could be applied into practical analysis. The later section will be conducted by case discussion. Upon completion of this course, students should be fully familiar with the alignment between theory and practice.

Seminar of Financial Management
財務管理研討
This course will be focusing on 1. Drafting topic of thesis research and 2. Writing thesis research project. The design of the course is based on “Learning by doing” concept.
