The Chinese Language Education Center (CLEC) of the College of Foreign Languages and Literature at Providence University (PU) is recognized by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan. It is known for providing top quality language and culture instruction within a friendly global atmosphere. Mandarin Chinese is the first language of all of the center’s trained instructors. However, most of them also speak English and other languages.
The CLEC offers bilingual instruction to beginners of Chinese and entirely Chinese instruction to intermediate and advanced students. More than 4,000 students from over 60 countries have benefited from studying at the CLEC over the last 10 years. For students who are looking for one of the finest and most exciting Chinese language and culture programs in Taiwan, Providence is the place to be.
